Sealed: usually only played at set prereleases, and available on Arena for a couple of weeks after each release, you get 6 Draft boosters (each with 15 cards), open them, and you make a 40 card deck out of the 90 total cards available to you + any extra basic lands (so basically you take 23 creatures and spells and add 17 lands).ĭraft: in this mode, you sit in a group, 8 people being optimum but might be slightly more or less in person depending on numbers, and you each get three packs. Sealed and Draft are the "limited" formats, where you have a few packs and you can only play with what you get. Can you please teach me what sealed and drafts mean, please?

I am very fortunate that I have a geek headquarters just down the street. In fact, they know me very well there and they know when I'm feeling okay because I actually show up. I can't get to the comic book store in the winter. Plus I want to learn to play online because I am physically disabled with cerebral palsy and my wheelchair is not very good in the snow. I need things to do in order to keep going. I want to pick it up again because I am in ill health and working is not something I can do right now.

Again, I am sad that I don't know much about the game anymore. I loved that card so much, it made me feel like such a bad ass. I remember the day they deemed it illegal to play in most games. I just know that when I was younger, maybe 20 years or so, there was this card called: It was a red card and dealt like 4 damage to one player and one less damage to the player sitting on your left or something like that. I have heard the words sealed and draft many times before but I don't really know what they mean.

I'm in there every other day at least when the weather is good.

There is a comic book store right down the street from me.
