We know that it’s hard to keep your focus on homework for long periods of time.

Break them up into smaller goals and make a checklist.īy trying to get a 10-step assignment done in one sitting, you set yourself up for frustration (and procrastination!) By getting tasks done individually instead, you allow for a sense of accomplishment. Like we mentioned before, if your homework consists of 10 different steps, don’t try and do them all at once. If you try to finish the shorter/easier assignments first, it will be easier for you to procrastinate and put off the longer/harder assignments. If you have a list of assignments to complete, try and finish the hardest ones first – that way, you don’t lose motivation. Figure out how long it will take to do the actual assignment and then schedule the time you need in your day-to-day life. In order to finish assignments on time, it’s important to make firm deadlines for completing your homework.
